Computer Technology Teacher
Cross Country Coach
Christina was born and raised on the foothills of the Italian Alps.
After graduating high school from an American school in Italy, she
attended University of Maryland, European Division and Biola
University in La Mirada, California. She graduated from Chapman
University in Orange, California with a B.S. degree in Computer
Information Systems.
Christina has over 20 years experience in computers, ranging from
programming to website and graphic design, technical support to
computer training. She was MIS Director for Eateries, Inc. for four
years before deciding to stay home with her kids. While homeschooling
her kids, she became the Director of Classical Conversations, a
national “Classical” homeschooling group. With Classical
Conversations, Christina taught 2nd, 5th, and 6th graders grammar and
writing.
She has taught computers at CCS for three years, along with being the
yearbook advisor and video media teacher. She enjoys empowering kids
with technology and loves motivating them to do their best.
An avid runner and triathlete, Christina coaches the CCS cross country
team with hopes to instill perseverance and commitment. Her hope is
that the athletes realize that with hard work, perseverance and
"fixing their eyes on Jesus", they can succeed in anything.
Christina has been married to Philip for eighteen years. They have
three girls, Isabella (12), Francesca (10) and Aviana (6), who all
attend CCS. They also have a fourth girl in their family, Ellie, their
Labradoodle.
Her lifetime verse is Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God
works for the good of those who love him, who have been called
according to his purpose.” Although the past couple of years, her
verse has been: "… let us run with endurance the race that is set
before us fixing our eyes on Jesus…" Hebrews 12:1-2
