Pre-K assistant

Evelyn joined the CCS staff in 2010 after 2 years as a Pre-k/Kindergarten assistant at another Christian school, and is excited to be at Crossings. She attended UCO and graduated with a Bachelor's in Sociology and Human Services.

She enjoys spending time with children in a nurturing environment. She believes in a hands-on approach to learning and likes sitting with children and working along side them.

Evelyn enjoys going to coffee shops or book stores for hours and reading. She also likes spending time with her house church and doing various activities with them. Baking is another favorite hobby; she has at least six cookbooks devoted solely to cookies!

Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:35-39; "What shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written, For your sake we are being killed all day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered, No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us, for I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
