Judi is a new classroom teacher after studying at the University of Central Oklahoma for four semesters. Her undergraduate degree is a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Her teaching experience includes private piano instruction for four years and home education for eight years.
She loves math and the orderly way it describes many aspects of this abundant life that God has given us. Her belief is that students thrive when a teacher models her thinking in working a math problem and when students have the necessary feedback and support to refine their own thinking. The classroom must be very structured while allowing for differences in students and the way they learn.
Judi loves to read, exercise, garden, and listen to music. She is blessed to have a family which includes her husband, three college-aged daughters and one son-in-law, as well as a rescued dog named Marley.
