3rd Grade

 

Karen joined CCS in 2011.  She has a B.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education) from Texas Tech.  Before coming to CCS, Karen taught public school in Lubbock, Texas and has served as a preschool director in Edmond for the past seven years.

 

Mrs. Haley loves kids!  She has always wanted to be a teacher, and was drawn to education as a child.  According to her, learning should be a fun experience that is a life-long process.  Her goal in the classroom is to nurture life-long learners who are curious and eager to learn.  When asked her favorite subject to teach, she says that she has always had a love for teaching Science.  Within that subject, she truly enjoys hands-on explorations and experiments.

 

The Haley family includes husband, Chris, son, Tyler, and daughter, Katie.  When not working, Karen loves to read, spend time with her family, and drive her kids all over creation!  Her family loves to go camping, play at the lake, and go to amusement parks.
