2nd Grade

Laura began working in our aftercare program during her college years and joined the second grade team in 2007. She has a B.A. in Elementary Education from Southern Nazarene University.

Mrs. Gautreaux says she really enjoys the challenge and rewards of making a positive difference in children’s lives. She loves teaching language arts and reading to second graders and has seen her students really grow in this area.

Laura and her husband, Nic, spend their family time riding bikes and going for walks. She also enjoys reading and playing with her dog, Piper, and her cat, Petey.

Favorite scripture verse: Eph 3:17-19 And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know that this love surpasses knowledge- that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
