Leah was born and raised in Virginia. She studied piano performance and elementary education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She moved here with her husband, Andrew Speno of Fox News, in 2001 and has 3 children: Nick (9th grade, Edmond North High), Joe (7th grade, Cheyenne Middle), and Sofia (4th grade, West Field Elementary). Their family includes 3 dogs.
Leah’s children attended the CCS Lower School for many years, beginning in 2001. She began working at CCS in 2003 as our Cafeteria Director at the Belle Isle campus. In 2005, she became a teacher’s aide in Mary Beavers’ Pre-K class and has been there ever since.
Leah enjoys decorative painting, spending time with her family, her friends, her animals, her church, and her computer! Leah loves the children of Crossings. Their wholehearted love for God keeps her inspired. They also keep her laughing! Crossings School is a blessing to Leah and her family.
