Marilyn has taught school approximately 25 years, teaching in both public and private schools.  Her degree is in Elementary Education with many hours toward an Early Childhood certification.  She has taught 2nd grade, preschool, and Kindergarten.

 

Teaching children is very important to Mrs. Lipscomb.  She loves being a child’s advocate,  teacher and nurturer!  She wants all children to know that they are special and a true gift from God!  

 

When She is not teaching, she loves to be with her family...her husband, two daughters, her son-in-law, and of course, her three beautiful grandchildren!  She loves reading mysteries, and working in her flowerbed and garden.  Being outside is a calming blessing to her!

 

Mrs. Lipscomb’s  favorite scripture is, "With God all things are possible."  Matt. 19:26  She holds tight to this scripture, and feels the amazing love God has for her!
