1st Grade

 

Santana has a B.S. in Elementary Education from UCO. She began her teaching career at Christian Heritage Academy-North in 2008. She then taught at Santa Fe South Charter School from 2009-2011. She is very excited about starting this new chapter in her life. She considers it an absolute blessing that God brought her to CCS at this time.

 

Her goal in teaching is to help her students develop a lifelong love for learning in a safe and exciting environment. She says her favorite subject to teach is spelling, “Because there are so many exciting ways to teach it.” 

 

She lives in Edmond where she bought a house in 2010. She had a Golden Retriever named Charley who her parents have now adopted. Her parents, Deb and Dave, live in Midwest City. Her sister, Jocelyn, lives in Oklahoma City and is starting up her own business, Blooming Balloons OKC. In her free time she enjoys watching sports, helping her sister with her new business, and investing in the lives of her K-Life girls.

 

Her favorite scripture verse is: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
