Middle & Upper School Art

 

This is Steve's first year at Crossings. Before coming to Crossings, he taught in the Putnam City Schools District and at Capital Christian School in Santa Fe, NM.  Having had the privilege of being an art educator for over 25 years, teaching has allowed him to share his love of art with many talented children and adults.  Steve has a BA in Art Education, along with graduate courses in Christian school education.

 

Mr. White says he passionately encourages others to recognize the talents that God has given them and to believe in themselves.  "I want to develop the talents of my students to their fullest extent, so they may use their talents to glorify God."

 

Steve is married to Jane, also an art teacher. They have two daughters, Leyna and Michaela.  Along with spending time with family, he enjoys painting, fishing, and gardening.
