Traci grew up in Woodward, Oklahoma. She has a B.S. in Secondary English and a M.S. in Gifted and Talented Education both from Oklahoma State University. Before joining Crossings, she had previously taught for 5 years in the Piedmont and Putnam City School districts. She had also been on staff at Crossings Community Church in the Children’s department. 

 

Traci loves to help her students develop a love for the written and spoken word including the Bible. She loves literature and the power that words possess. She enjoys teaching students that good writing comes from being a good reader, and being willing to work to expand, revise, and edit their ideas. 

 

Traci and her husband, Joe, have been blessed with two wonderful children. Their daughter, Caroline, is in first grade. Their son, Landon, is in Pre-K. In her spare time, Traci loves to read, cook, entertain, watch sports (especially OSU!), decorate, scrapbook, and travel.
